When Aeromexico resumes its nonstop, twice weekly route from San Diego to Mexico City on July 7, it will become one of four airlines serving Lindbergh Field with international flights. The flights will depart on Thursdays and Sundays. Aeromexico’s direct route to Mexico City was halted in 2000. It was resumed briefly in 2001 and discontinued again. Aeromexico also has flights to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallerta and Loreto, Mexico. All routes lead to Cabo San Lucas...or something like that... Cabo Frio: Larry Edwards of Cortez Yacht Charters reports "an amazing change of water temperatures" off Cabo San Lucas. The water dropped and ranged from 58 degrees at Cabo Falso – "Salmon-catching water temperature," Edwards said – to 74-75 degrees just above the Gordo Banks.
